Recruiting question and top 25 rankings seem broken

Just bought ncaa one released today after watching couple videos on it last week. First game I've played by Wolverine Studios and it seems like great game so far, love the in depth recruiting. Question I have is once player gets to 90+ like rating for my school can I pretty much stop recruiting him or do I need to keep throwing recruiting points at him every week until he commits? Also only couple weeks into season but rankings are pretty jacked up. #12 Penn St beat #3 LSU, the next week LSU unranked and Penn St dropped to #17. Michigan St was #13 won both games and fell out of top 25. Oklahoma st was unranked and lost game then next week were ranked #13. Florida was ranked 7th, lost to unranked team and then #5 the next week. Few others seem to be hopping around randomly as well.

Keep adding points in recruits until you sign them... otherwise other schools can jump up and take them. Just because they have 90% interest in you doesn't mean they don't have 99% interest in 5 other schools.
In the first season and the first few weeks the game doesn't have a good history on teams to know where to slot them in. It's weighted towards the previous year finish, but they do hop around a lot and won't stabilize until at least week 4.

When you go to view your recruits you need to change the "view" option to "actions" once you do that there will be a list of actions to do ike phone call and offer scholarship etc... hope that helps

Update: After finishing up with week 3 the rankings have stabilized and teams are more where they should be. Loving this game so far!

Yeah the rankings are deff pretty solid once you get few weeks in (and years). Always love switching the week by week to top 25 games and simming each one to see which crazy upsets happen. Week 7 2007 (or whatever that crazy week of upsets happened) here we come!
