Editing the names database? Roster project?

Is there a way to edit the names database prior to starting a season?

I would like to start with a realistic player roster set, but can only achieve this if I start a new challenge mode season.

if you are in sandbox or looged in as commish on online mode, you can edit all players ingame.

You can also edit the rosters outside of the game - check the modding section.
