Lack of sacks for user controlled teams.

Not sure why I can't seem to get many sacks. I even cheated and made all of my defensive linemen supermen. Gave them all 100 ratings for strength, speed, agility, intelligence and tackling. After 14 games , my teams had 27 sacks. Only 10 where by my linemen. I blitz a ton just trying to get sacks. Is this just the game or is there something I am missing? As part of my experiment, I even played a game where I made all of my opponents linemen ratings only 10 for strength, blocking and intelligence, while making their qb's have only 10 speed and agility. I got one sack that game.
