That's a pretty steep change going from a 4 star to a 1 star - I haven't seen that before and you also mentioned that he lost points in rebounding and defense but he really didn't lose those points. The game does not simulate results based on the numbers you are looking at - it does so based on the true rating which is hidden. All you are seeing across the board is evaluated numbers so like I said he's likely to be just as good as before given the same situations. My best guess is that because of the low coach ratings you hit a situation where a wild miss happened in back to back evaluations - the first time way too high and the second time way too low and that coaches with better ratings would have set him some where in the middle of that range
