Missing Recruits?

I’ve had at least three recruits that have signed LOIs and passed their SATs (scoring higher than the school’s minimum) but have disappeared from the team during what should be their freshman year. One somehow reappeared as a sophomore but the others have simply vanished. Is this a bug or am I missing more than my recruits?

DId those 3 sign their LOI"s in November? If so, I have no idea why they would have disappeared. I've never had that occur.

If you were making scholarship offers in April that you thought were accepted, you need to be sure to read the email. Because if you have offered a scholarship in April and the recruit opts for another college, an email is generated with a subject line in the email list something like: "Zander Davidson signs LOI". That would make you THINK that Zander Davidson accepted your offer. But when you read the email and he signed an LOI for another college, the email says something like: "Coach-it appears that Zander Davidson signed a LOI with New Mexico St. His scholarship offer has been taken back for you to use elsewhere. Good luck."

Re a player "disappearing" between his Freshman and Sophomore year, it's likely he either declared early for the Pro's or transferred. There would have been an email indicating either of those occurrences.

Yes, I had the same thing happen to me last night. I got one recruit early in the season that signed. He is still on my team. I signed a 5 star center very late. It was right around the national championship game. I got an email saying he signed, it showed that he signed with me. I didn't receive any notice he was leaving, and he is nowhere to be found on my roster.

Here's what I was referring to. When I just looked in the list of emails (on the left side of the following screen shot) I thought that Chris Ross had signed an LOI for my college. So I figured OK, that's done! But when I the looked at my Recruit Class page, he wasn't on it. Upon opening the email (on the right side of the screen shot), it indicates that he signed an LOI to another college and that the scholarship opening was returned to my college.

When you get an "___ signs LOI" email in November, it always means the recruit signed with your college. But when you get that same kind of email notification in the list of emails in April, you have to read the email because the guy may have signed with your college or may have signed with someone else.

The email subject line definitely can be misleading. Case in point, 4 guys signed LOI"s on April 9 in this case, but in fact only two of them signed with MD-Eastern Shore..,the other two to whom scholarships had been offered signed elsewhere.

Same thing just happened to me. I signed 5 recruits, but only 4 showing on my roster immediately after ending season.

Does anyone have a file where you remember the recruit's name that is missing? Even better if you have like a backup from earlier before it happened as well. If so please look under HELP and submit the game files so I can take a look for the specific player in the code
