Here's what I was referring to. When I just looked in the list of emails (on the left side of the following screen shot) I thought that Chris Ross had signed an LOI for my college. So I figured OK, that's done! But when I the looked at my Recruit Class page, he wasn't on it. Upon opening the email (on the right side of the screen shot), it indicates that he signed an LOI to another college and that the scholarship opening was returned to my college.
When you get an "___ signs LOI" email in November, it always means the recruit signed with your college. But when you get that same kind of email notification in the list of emails in April, you have to read the email because the guy may have signed with your college or may have signed with someone else.
The email subject line definitely can be misleading. Case in point, 4 guys signed LOI"s on April 9 in this case, but in fact only two of them signed with MD-Eastern Shore..,the other two to whom scholarships had been offered signed elsewhere.
