Unrealistic Ivy League stats

I saw someone else post about this before, but wanted to give some more context to this issue...

In multiple saves of mine, the entire Ivy League is turning the ball over 40 times per game. Some games they are shooting less than 10 field goals. In year two of my most recent save, Princeton played #11 Purdue and lost 33-3, turning the ball over 46 times and ONLY TAKING 3 SHOTS!!!

This needs to be fixed ASAP. It seems that the Ivy League is the only conference this is happening with. Every player on their is 0.5 stars. It's just not realistic whatsoever and ruins the immersion of the game. I wanted to coach an Ivy League school, but I can't do that like that.

I've tested a lot of associations and have yet to have that occur for me.

So...my suggestion is for you to submit a control ticket along with the game files so Gary can take a look at what's going on with your association. Be sure to indicate what version of the game you're using, any mods you're using, and any edits or changes you may have made. Submission instructions are in the HELP link in the game.

The same suggestion goes for the other person who had the same thing occur.

I too have not seen anything like this - I started up a save with an Academia League team and my team has a normal distribution of players and the first game played was won 96-80.

Maybe it has something to do with the mod? I'm assuming you are using NCAAHoops mod - which version of the import are you using? Also try making a save game with the default file and see if you experience the same issue.

I am having this same issue. Multiple Ivy games ending with both teams under 40 points, players with 7+ TOs per game, conference leader with 10 wins on the season.

I just checked I believe there is an issue with the Import for Ivy League with the Imports that include real coaches. It appears because the Ivy league canceled their season the stats I use to generate the "Offensive Focus" rating was skewed due to not having any stats for 2020-21 season. I will look into this tonight and will promise to have a fix posted by tomorrow once I see what caused the issue as with no stats it should have used previous history for that rating but I think it did not work as designed for some reason. I will look to be sure that is the only issue and test a couple of time and have an update quickly. Will post here when its available. Sorry I did not catch that and I don't think it was in previous versions but I'll verify if it was or not after I fix the current version first.
At quick check I can verify its the teams that canceled their season as I see Bethune Cookman and Maryland Eastern shore have the same issue and they canceled their season as well so its definitely a 2020-21 season stat issue.

NCAAhoops....it's just occurring with the mod that includes real coaches, right? I haven't noticed it occurring with the Stats/No Coaches mod up to this point.

Thanks for looking into this NCAAhoops! I had a feeling it might have had something to do with the league opting out of 2020-21. I had forgotten about Bethune Cookman and MD Eastern Shore opting out or I would have checked them too and been able to suggest that.

Will you post here and/or in the mods section when you have an updated version?

Pointguard, correct its only the two imports with real coaches all the others are OK. And it's only the latest version of 21.0.08 all others did not have the issue.
mynameisasport yes I will post in the fix in the mod forums and notify here.
For those that already have an association going I think I can also have a fix so you do not need to start over that I am going to test this morning and should have everything ready to go later today.

And thanks to you guys for catching and reporting this. It allows me to make sure we get the mod to be as real as possible and not a poor attempt that you just have to deal with.
