Offer Scholarship Button Missing on Player Profile View

I thought you used to have the option to offer available scholarships from the player profile view. It's no longer available there. The only way to offer the scholarship is to go to your recruiting list screen, highlight the line the player is on, and offer scholarship from the options on the right-hand side of the screen.

It would be much easier to be able to use the 'Recruit Class' screen to open a player profile and offer him a scholarship from there. Was that removed, or am I experiencing a bug of some sort?
