I always start leagues with 8 teams and expand the league after every few years.

In F21 & F20, the league started with less games (I'd prefer 10, but I think it was 14). When I created a new league in F22 the season is 18 games long.

Also, I tried to sim the whole season and it got hung up on week 18 with 95%.


This is just a sandbox league so there are no human controlled teams. Just want to see what the league would do on auto-pilot.


Also, I can't set the practice squad to zero, so each team has one player on the practice squad which seems silly.

Which league format did you use?

US-8 in sandbox

I don't think I changed anything related to that league format. We only added the NFL 17 game schedule. And by default the US 8 Team has an 18 game schedule.

I just checked and all the 8 team formats have at least 15 games. A work around I have is create my own schedules, but I could have sworn there was a format for 8 teams, 10 games.
