End of Season Retirements

Is there a way to manage how many free agents are deleted for retirement at the end of the season? You can undo some retirements by editing their player profile, but the game will delete tons of free agents at the end of the season with no ability to bring them back to the game. Obviously, the game cannot keep all of them, but I'm curious if there is a way to adjust how the game decides which ones to delete.

Pretty much any player that has not played a game in a couple of seasons will be deleted. If players play games, but don't make the HOF, win championships, set streaks, records, historical markets, etc. they will be deleted as well.
