let's say i created a schedule where all 32 teams play each other one time (31 games apiece). How would I go about setting that up? using a default league format and then importing a schedule doesn't work as it just reverts to a 17 game season.

No, they're all internally created, either from someone in the past that requested the format or some version I created based off of some sort of rotational schedule. You should be able to make your own but it still must match the number of games for that particular league format.

Would it be possible to do the same thing as the college game? Where you can just input custom teams.xml and schedule?
