Strange coach move

My head coach of a playoff team left to become an offensive coordinator on a different team. That shouldn't be happening should it? Can't imagine a head coach who just took his team to the playoffs for a lesser job

I'm not sure coaches leave that way... they can fall into the pool if they're not extended by their current team though.

Pretty sure he took the job and stated it was to "enhance his career"
