Rookie OVR Ratings Showing pre-draft? - Scout Rating Bug?

There are a couple of potentially major bugs If they are bugs?) for MP leagues that makes drafting / scouting super easy if you want information on soon-to-be drafted players.

1) in the export files option, the ‘players’ report export shows the OVR of all players in the league. This includes soon-to-be rookies that are in the draft that hasn’t happened yet. Giving users (non-commish) the ability to see overall ratings before the draft happens for scouted guys by opening this export file.

2). When scouting, scout grades are re-generated every time you open the file. So if scout grades are effectively randomly re-generating every time you open the game bin file, then you can easily just open the file 15 times, export the grades, take a quick average, and get a near-perfect ‘average’ scouting report on every player. When you scout, you're in-game scout should give you scores that are locked in, not re-generated every time you open the file. At best, this is just confusing to see your scouting reports change, at worst it’s being manipulated into giving teams perfect scouting reports.

Thanks, fixed the OVR display issue.

For the scouting reports, there isn't much we can do since the reports are generated at view time and then locked. If someone wants to keep opening the league file and recording them then yea, they could average out the deviations built in. The scouting reports are still tied to the coach, so they are still based on the coaches skill. We recommend using the "words" for scouting if you want to add back in a bit of fogginess.

And yeah, other one probably shouldn't be called a bug. But just will say I do think it'd be a top of the wishlist item for improvement ideas of '23 or '24 to tweak scouting in way that makes scout grades set in stone and not change. Even if ignoring the issue of taking the averages, it can be highly confusing to see your scout grade flip flop their grades.

And super wish list would include maybe some in-season scouting or scouting earlier in the offseason to sort of have a better idea of the draft earlier in the season. Also more "fog of war" so scouting isn't so accurate. Most people just export the words to excel to provide a very accurate 21 point grading system. And scouts themselves are very accurate so less accurate scouts and less accurate grading system would be great on top of not being able to load file multiple times and see new scout grades.
