Preseason games and 2D game play?

I was able to watch our team's first preseason game in 2D, but not the second game. In that second game, there was play-by-play, however, the actual graphics with the players and plays did not show?

The league in question is an online league. However, I also have a sandbox league where there are no issues.

At first I thought that maybe preseason games weren't included in 2D, but I remembered that the first preseason game had no issues(?)

In some cases as the league advances we toss out games to keep the league files smaller.
