Have you installed any mods? I have seen a problem before when people install player photo mods and they put them in the app/disk/graphics/players/fac folder - that causes a problem when starting the game. The photos go in the app/disk/graphics/players folder and NOT in the fac folder.

If that is not the issue it may be that something did not install properly. I would reinstall and also check after that the 4.8 version of .NET installed properly

No mods (fresh install), and working with 6.0 of .NET, i think. Reinstalled also.
Any other settings on my end that might be causing a problem?

You are running a 64 bit version of Windows, correct?

You can try updating the 64 bit C++ redistributable at https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

That link comes from https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/wi ... w=msvc-170 if you want to check it out there

You said you think you have 6.0 installed of .NET. There is not a 6.0 version of that.

Try downloading and running the 4.8 runtime from https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/d ... work/net48

Microsoft did release net 6 earlier in November, it is part of the net core family (3, 5, etc). .net Frameworks which is different than net core, will not have any major releases beyond 4.8 as net core becomes the future of .net architecture.
