Player Development

Player Development

Postby prolow » Tue May 31, 2022 10:30 pm

Hey guys,

Pretty new to the game, and something that is driving me nuts is the player development. There's gotta be something I'm missing....

- My QBs accuracy and arm strongly digress, consistently year-to-year

- A lot of my defensive players hands and tackling digress strongly every year as well

- There is little to 0 growth in skills that actually truly make a player better

So I guess my questions would be:

1. Am I missing a step in actually progressing my players (aka adding skill points when they are earned)?

2. should I expect to see improvement in my players from year to year, or is that not a realistic expectation?

Thanks!

The training system is similar to Pro Football which has some details here: https://wolverinestudios.freshdesk.com/ ... ning-guide

Basically you need to set up training schedules that will either maintain current numbers, or improve some the cost of others. Other than that the players will tend to get better year to year, but only a few points here or there. It's not expected that a 70 OVR player will morph into a 90 OVR player in 1-2 seasons.
