Start Screen

I have downloaded the First Access version of the game (and licensed it). As of right now all I get is the start up screen background and nothing else. Not sure why that is. I am currently running windows 11. Should I delete and try to download again?

If I knew how to take a screen grab I would.

Look on your computer for the following path. C:\Users\[whatever your username is]\AppData\Local\AlchemiumUnlimited

In that folder you will find a folder for the game. Delete that folder. Then reboot the computer and try playing the game again.

I had the same issue and Gary's fix worked for me.

Another possible issue could be an AV program or firewall blocking access to the licensing program. Might have to try whitelisting the game with those programs.

Turned out to be a firewall issue as well. With Gary's suggestion, I was able to get the game up and running.

Having the same issue. I tried deleting the folder per Gary's suggestion and also checked for any firewall issues. As far as I can see, there shouldn't be a problem. Haven't had this happen with any version of DDSCB or DDSPB from 2019 through 2022 (in the case of DDSPB). Any other thoughts on a resolution? Running Windows 10 here. Thanks.

You said you checked firewall issues - did you actually whitelist the game with windows defender (or do you have another AV program running that you can whitelist the game in)

Yes, Gary - I have Norton 360 and this game is specifically set to ALLOW all the things that I see relevant to DDSCB2022.
