Operation Sports review - "An outstanding experience"

Operation Sports review - "An outstanding experience"

Postby CJacksonCowart » Thu Mar 24, 2022 2:23 pm

The reviews are rolling in for Draft Day Sports: College Basketball 2022, which Operation Sports calls "a worthy upgrade" over past releases. From reviewer Robert Kollars:

If you just look at DDS: CBB 22, it does not seem like much has changed year over year. However, the improvements under the hood in recruiting, homecourt advantage, and deeper coaching involvement help this version make some noise. All the components inside Draft Day Sports: College Basketball 22 flow very well together, and the game as a whole delivers an outstanding experience that happens to coincide with March Madness. Even better, DDS: CBB 22 is a title that has an addictive quality that keeps giving year after year.

What do you think? Are you "addicted" yet to this year's release?

This review is actually what got me to try the game out. I had played past games, the college football ones, but they never hooked me, so I didn't commit to them after the demo ran out. However, the demo for this game had me hooked from the second I started playing. My buddy watched me play most of the first year of the course of last week and he ended up purchasing the game as well. This game is a significant improvement over the last DDS game I tried out years ago. It is a blast and I am addicted. I hope the football games can catch up to this game soon, then I will be in gaming heaven.

This review essentially sold two copies in the end.

This isn't really the right place to ask this, but I tried searching and dug through tons of pages, but had no luck. Is there a guide out there that shows a description for each rating? I mainly am interested in w hat the specifics of a few are, like Scoring and Inside Scoring. I don't know if the latter is mainly post moves or if the ability to finish a drive is under that rating, too, but I assumed scoring maybe covered that, but I'd love to just have a written explanation.

I owned the original game and just purchased this years version. I thought at first not much changed. I'm really enjoying this so and just finished my first season.
