More scholarships

Not sure if this question belongs here, but didn’t want to make a whole new thread for this. Does anyone know if releasing a scholarship player during transfer sessions results in acquiring another scholarship to offer a possible transfer?

I don't recall ever releasing a player from my roster once the transfer sessions begin so I'm not sure.

Test this out and report back: Do it (without having auto save on) and see if an additional scholarship becomes available. Then after the test, close the game without saving so that it goes back to the beginning of the transfer sessions when you reopen it.

Yes it does add a scholarship UNLESS the guy you release is a senior.

So if a player is going to be a senior in the upcoming season, you don’t get that scholarship?

No, if a player is a senior when you cut him.
