What are the disadvantages of high Academics? I picked high because I thought it would help me keep my players eligible but they may have been silly... That said, I've never had GPA issues!

I go with fairly high but not extremely high. You can scare off students who are passing but not outstanding students if you make this too high.

Yep, it's a trade off, certain really talented players won't have interest in your school if your academic expectations are too high, but certain high profile schools will never offer you a job if they are too low.

So ended up having another successful season at Mcneese state and then getting a couple “lower” tier power 5 offers like Northwestern and Utah. Ended up taking the job at Utah and after a successful first season, got more offers but am staying at Utah until the right job opens up.
