Giving coaches a little more personality to their team building would be a welcomed addition to a future version of the game.

Recruiting preferences for AI coaches would see them lean towards a specific type of player when it comes to a deciding factor for evenly skilled players.

Within the coach’s profile along with their play styles, they should have 1 or 2 recruiting styles.

Athleticism
Court IQ
Defensive ability
Shooting
Rebounding
Discipline

Those 6 attributes could be targeted specifically during recruiting for AI coaches.

Maybe even give the user a bonus for having a recruiting preference where let’s say a shooter would have more interest in your team by default for having a preference for shooters.

Yes, someone like John Beilein always relied on players that can shoot and dribble. Specifically the big men who were also skilled passers in some cases.
