Hey PG. Sorry for not putting the shot clock issue in here. I'll know better next time.

Got another "issue" with regards to recruiting. The recruiting regions seem too restrictive. As an example, I am coaching Wyoming. Denver is only 120 miles away. Yet, because Colorado is in the Great Plains, and Wyoming is in the west, I have next to no shot at getting traction in Colorado. Yet San Francisco is over 1,000 miles away and I have no problem getting traction there. Still can't get visits, (those seem to be locked into WY and ID and occasionally MT only). Yet, Fort Collins, Colorado is 65 miles by car from Laramie, WY.

Another way to look at it. Cleveland State's team in real life this year has 14 players on their roster. Only 4 of the players are from Ohio. 3 are from outside the MW region. In a previous save, it was impossible to have that diverse of a roster.

In conclusion, I think recruiting needs to open up more.

Hey, I think you're getting a helluva good deal...a lot more recruits for you to go after from CA than CO. :D

But yeah, I understand what you're saying.

Obviously the regions are contrived, but I assume that creating a "region" for each of the 350+ teams would be darned tough. Distance from the college isn't always the determinant since there can be geographical impeditments that offset distance, state vs state issues (people from one state may "hate" colleges from a nearby state), etc, etc.

Anyway, I'll enter your suggestion into the list and leave it up to Gary to consider. (I'm just glad that it's not ME who has to try to figure out a WAy to improve this component. My head already hurts just thinking about it.)

And besides...Wyoming and California are SO politically similar...I'm sure any California recruit would be ecstatic to head to Wyoming.

This is more of a small UI thing but sometimes when I'm playing as a college like App state in my current save, the defensive set knowledge for players shows up as a black bar, with a black number on the dark background and it's hard to see. I'd love it if the game could somehow detect that and maybe change the number to the primary college colour (yellow in my case) or change the bar if it would be too dark to be properly visible on the black background. The same thing happens with player ability badges if they show up in black. Just something thats a consequence of the new dark skin I guess but something to bear in mind

On my other save on my laptop, I just hit Tuesday, February 28, 2030. Wednesday should then be February 29, 2030 for leap year. It went right to March 1, 2030.

2030 isn't a leap year.
