I think the transfer portal is unrealistic at the moment. 1 of my players from the current years recruiting class transferred out before ever being eligible for a game because he was "upset with coach".
I also lost 7 players that were "upset with coach" even though they had 100% team and coach relationship. I reloaded the save, and I only lost 3 (these guys were about 50% coach relationship). I did the same thing 10 times, and it ranged between 3-5 players lost but it included some players that had 100% coach & team relationships but the reason listed is "Upset with coach". This doesn't make much sense, and is very sporadic. '

Has anyone else had Transfer portal issues like this? I started this save during Early Access and have been updating with each version, but not starting a new save file.

I've had similar things happen with the transfer portal. I wish there was an option where you could use the transfer logic of the old way, but have them be eligible immediately.

Transfers are new to the game this year. It's inevitable that this will require some tweaking.

Transfers aren't new, its the exact same system in place as previous years but the players are eligible to play immediately instead of having to sit 1 year. You still contact & offer scholarships in the same manner as previous editions.

Yes, that's true, but in real life and in the game the number of transfers is WAY higher with the new rule.

I think it's logical to have a ton of transfers when one wouldn't have to sit out a year and college degrees are becoming more worthless. I actually like that a kid gets to try and maximize their playing time or experience. But only gets two chances to do so (initial recruit and one transfer) . That being said, I think having a slider (small, medium, large) on how much transferring takes place would be enjoyed by all ddscb players.
