Apologies if this is not the appropriate place for this...

I have downloaded the CB2022 and trying to install it. I am being told that I need to install a .NET Framework 4.8 which apparently is not compatible with my computer. I believe that I am using Windows 8.

I am not the most computer literate person, so any help in simple language would be much appreciated. I am guessing that I am out of luck unless I upgrade my Windows (which, I assume, will cause me to lose stuff on my computer, yes?)

Why would upgrading your computer make you lose stuff? If your concerned of losing anything during a windows upgrade, just backup anything critical to an external drive?

Since Microsoft will no longer fix security flaws for Windows 8 after 1/10/2023, personally I would update.

With regard to DDSCB2022 and NET 4.8, I'd suggest you submit a SUPPORT TICKET so Gary can give you some advice.

For .net 4.8 believe you need to at least have windows 8.1….if you have windows 8, seems like would be Minsk to update to 8.1 versus major upgrade.
