Foul prone player

I have a 5 star freshman post who is ALWAYS in foul trouble. Is there any solution for this?

You might try setting him to guard the PF or C on the opposition that is less likely to shoot a lot.

What level of defensive intensity are you using for your team? You might try reducing that.

Does he tend to pick up fouls quicker when your team is in man-to-man D or when they are using whatever zone D you use? If you can determine that, then don't used that D when he's on the court.

Are you working the refs? Sometimes that can cut down on the fouls on your team.

As he learns your team's defensive sets more during practices, his fouling may decrease some.
