this is honestly just a gripe about the transfer portal. I regularly have starters on my power five teams transfer for just dumb reasons, change of scenery or too much competition when they are set to be the starter for next 2 years. Like they are getting big minutes and contributing and are set for big years and then transfer instead of staying. I totally get bench players who think they should be starters leaving but actual starters leaving seems like something that should be happening far less often than it does for me. Is there a way to set this frequency lower or is it something else causing these issues?
