We hope you are as excited for this year's version as we are. Having the game available at the start of the college season this year should make for a very fun college football season for everyone!

When you pre-order you will receive your license key and instructions in email to download the beta builds if you wish to do so up to the final release. All pre-orders will also receive a complementary Steam key when the game is released on Steam.

Want to know more about the FirstAccess program? https://www.wolverinestudios.com/2020/0 ... rstaccess/

We have a blog post talking about some of the changes to the game at https://www.wolverinestudios.com/post/t ... all-season and we will be updating the game's official page as well.

And of course to pre-order just go to https://wolverinestudios.onfastspring.com/ and you will see the special coupon code there for you to use for pre-ordering.

From the entire team we're very excited to bring you this year's version and we thank all those who take part in FirstAccess to help the team find any remaining issues before the final launch.

OBS: THIS WILL ONLY BE FULLY FUNCTIONAL AFTER THE FIRST PATCH
Understanding The New Counter Strategy
In the game plans there are new options that allow you to prepare for your upcoming game, by focusing preparation on specific aspects of your opponents offense and defense.

There is a checkbox that lets you delegate the preparation to your coordinators, which basically means it will be autoset by the AI for each game. If you want to set it yourself uncheck the box and two dropdowns will appear.
You have a drop down for both offense and defense, where you can select what to prepare for.

In the league options you can set what kind of preparation you want the game to use.
This setting will determine what preparation setting is used leaguewide, so in case you are in a multiplayer league, you might want to have a poll or something to decide.

There are three options here:
1) Type
Preparation against specific types of plays, e.g. Short passing or inside running etc, and offensive preparation against Man, Zone, or Blitz

2) Formations
Preparation against specific formations, e.g. defensive preparation against plays out of ProSet and offensive preparation against plays out of 335
OBS: Some formations are grouped, This goes for all defense so if you set it to 34, the preparation works against all variants of 34 (wide, over, under, base). On offense TwoTE covers both TwoTe and Jumbo fomations. and Shotgun covers both Shotgun and Shotgun4WR.

3) Play
This prepares against a specific play e.g. "Shotgun4WR Slant Under" or "34 Zone Blanket"

During games When the opponent runs a play of the kind/formation/exactplay you have prepared against you will get bonuses for your offense/defense.
Also note: because option 1 and 2 (Type and Formation) cover a lot of plays, preparation here gives only a small bonus, whereas the option 3 (Play) only covers a single play and therefore gives a more substantial bonus.
