The CFP Board Managers just approved a 12-team playoff format coming no later than 2026.
It will be the top 4 ranked Conference Champions as the #1 - #4 seeds and they get a bye week.
Then the remaining top #5 - #12 teams get the remaining seeds.
Round 1 will be #5 v #12, #6 v 11, # 7 v #10, and #8 v 9
Quarters - #1 v lowest seed, #2 - v second lowest etc.
An So on...

Round 1 starts the week BEFORE Bowl Season begins.

Brooks is there a possibility of getting this added to the game in a future patch/update?
That way as we progress through our leagues we can ad the new playoff format. - On that note are we able to change the playoff format between seasons? This would be a nice add with all the CFP changes.

Yes!!! Brooks please, we already have 16 so there is space for 12 :-D The bye weeks will make for a legit interesting mechanic, and I know it can't be a crazy amount of work to add
