Is there a way to adjust tempo within a game? I think it is fairly common for teams to pick up the pace if they're losing, or vice versa slow things down when they're up. Is this reflected in the game?

Yes, the coaches will use the currently set strategy for the most part but at the end of halfs or in certain scenarios they will pick up or slow down.

No no, I mean as I'm playing a game thru. Can I change the tempo once the week's game is in play? Does that make sense?
I know I can set it in the game plan section. But can I adjust it while playing the game out

No, the game plans aren't available to be changed while playing out a game.
