Linux/SteamPlay/Proton

I'm interested in playing this latest release, but I've moved my gaming full time to Linux. Would you guys consider attempting to make the game playable on steam using the proton compatibility layer?

Not sure if it's something as simple as files missing currently, but I can't get the game to launch, something about the UI.

I'll look into it, but I'm not sure the platform we use supports proton, linux, wine, etc. So it may be out of my control for this release.

Have you gotten a chance to look into this?

What engine or main development tools are used? Maybe I could figure it out.

I haven't had any luck yet. Requires a lot more set up to even determine what the issue is.

I did look into it and we're using libraries that are not supported currently by Proton and there don't seem to be any workarounds.

Ok, thanks for checking.

If you ever get it to work you probably have two sales from me :) . This game and the college basketball game.
Maybe I could go the VM route.

DDS CF 2019 works on Linux via wine, although I'm having trouble entering the registration key (nothing to do with wine, I don't think).

DDS CF 2021 does not work, same obscure UI error.

If I can figure out what libraries are missing I can probably get it to work.

But everything works in a VirtualBox VM running Windows 7, although that is not my preferred solution.
