Coaching hires\fires

I fire a coach during the season, the only option is to hire from the existing staff. When is a pool of other coaches available to view and hire? Are other coaches that are fired placed in a pool to consider? I know you can transfer player files from the College game to your pro game for them to be drafted, can files of pro coaches be transferred to the college game to be hired?

Fired/unhired coaches are in a pool that you can offer from during the coach signing phases. At this point they can only be imported by exporting or creating a coach file and then using that file to create a new league.

During the season it's not really expected that people would fire a head coach unless they are promoting one of their coordinators... and then backfilling a coordinator with an internal hire until you get to the coach hiring stages. But you certainly could do an internal hire direct to head coach if you want and replace them after the season. I guess it all depends on how bad that coach is doing.
