Vanishing Recruiting Dollars

I came into Recruiting Week 1 to find all recruiting $ gone. I understand the way it works is that dollars disappear after the player assigned them to signs. However for ALL of my $ to disappear, that would have meant that every player I assigned $ to had signed, in which case all scholarships would be filled and that was that. But I had several decommits, got the scholarships back but not the money. That's a little harsh, now I have 3 recruit weeks with no moolah to recruit with.
