Ending a game

I played a game, not sim but play and when time ran out there was no way to end the game. Eventually I clicked the x but then the game showed as not played. How do I end the game after it is over? Thank you

I've responded to your ticket. Maybe if others have found a solution for this they'll respond here. It's not something I've ever been able to replicate so I don't know the conditions that triggers it to happen.
