Coaching a superstar

Hey, has anyone coached a "generational talent" type player in their leagues - someone who averages like 25 points per game and dominates?

Just curious. I have limited experience playing the game (I like it so far a lot!) but it seems my teams all have guys that average 10-14 ppg in my starting lineup. I've yet to have a real superstar take over a team...

Who are you coaching? Only top teams get superstars. It's fun when you do but they usually go pro after their freshman year.

I got this guy just recently, it's a wonder why he didn't declare to the draft early at all. Carried our our team to 3 out of 4 Titles.

Currently coaching NC A&T. There can be "superstars" at the lower levels, guys who average 25ppg in their conference or who go off for 40 in a big game (then transfer to Kentucky or Michigan the next year). Just wondering if folks have seen these types of players/performances in this game. I was happy to see that the national leaders for ppg in my association matched pretty close to real life.

A related question: I have a stud freshman SF, who is already considered 4.5 stars. But I can't seem to get him untracked. How would I make him the focus of the offense?

Go to the Strategy page. Under Offensive Focus if he's a guard set it to Favor Outside or even Heavy Outside. If he's a big guy set it to Favor Inside or Heavy Inside.
