Awesome visit

Has anyone ever checked to see if players saying they had an awesome visit has any real meaning or any effect on whether or not they will commit? Seems random to me but I haven't done any stats on it.

Anecdotally, I would say when I get that message I have a better chance of landing the recruit. I have never charted it though.

My feeling has been that when a recruit really likes the campus visit (and moreso when he really likes the home visit), there's a much better chance of him moving my team onto his top 10 or higher up on the top 10 and there's a better chance of landing him. Of course, that's not always the case. No stats to back that up, though.
