Schedule questions

I bought 2023 a year ago and only just now getting to play it. Only CBB game I had prior was 2020 and it was a slight amount different. Main thing different was the scheduling. My question is how do we change away games and get home games during the scheduling period? Most of the gam,es I can schedule are away games which obviously I'm losing since I'm on a trash team.

Can't do it. The high percentage of away games goes along with being a low prestige team. That's rather similar to the trevails for many "trash" (lol) teams in real life. Duke or Kansas just don't want to go play in the Podunk U gym in front of 351 fans....but they might be willing to host them so they can boost their voting for the Top 25 by thumping Podunk U 116-42 in pre-conference play.

Ahh ok that makes sense. Wish that could change against fellow scrub teams but I get it

Yeah, may be a little out of skew with other so-so teams. But the coaches and AD's for those teams maybe don't want to risk a loss to a poor team by playing an away game where losing is more likely...but will take them on for a home game where they're likely to win.

I think it's best for new DDSCB game players to set your coaching skills high so you can begin by coaching a strong team and use "Easy" recruiting difficulty level so you achieve some success as you become familiar with the nuances of recruiting and playing out games. Then try creating associations with lower head coaching skills and ratchet up the recruiting difficulty level so that becomes more of a realistic challenge and go on to mid level or low level teams to coach to learn how to build up teams.
