I see what you guys did and I like the addition a lot but it just does not make sense how it’s executed. My suggestion for it is that you just make it like real life where it’s Offensive Package 1/Defensive Package 2/Special Teams Package 1 vs Offensive Package 2/Defensive Package 1/Special Teams Package 2 so it does a few things


It allows the user to decide who’s playing against who
It’s how it goes in real life, it’s a full game scrimmage
You can decide who your starters are based off this, great for immersion
And you get the chance to watch a full game with your team.


And sure I heard you on the podcast say well what if a team has 1 kicker? Make him be able to kick for both teams! My suggestion for it. Otherwise it’s a great idea that’s just ruined because if I want to watch my starters play I can just schedule some pancake team and it doesn’t tell me anything I don’t already know. I can tell you if it isn’t changed in some way I’ll almost never use it and it’s a waste of a new feature. Like I said though, it’s a really great idea! Just the execution is meh
