Team/Coach Budget

@Brooks, I am a little confused about the budget. I am coaching San Jose State. So, I edited the coach's salaries to match their actual salaries in real life. But when I saved the game it still says the staff salaries are $12.8 million and the budget spent is $12.8 mil (and my coach budget is $13.5 million) when really the coach salaries equal about $4 million in total. Will this update later during the season or should I modify in team.xml file before starting a new league to be more accurate? Or am I missing something else?

The coach salaries lock in after the coach hiring phase so if you edit before that it should work.
