Probably too late for this year but it seems like it would be helpful to have "committed" and "hidden" players as checkmarks in addition to or in place of drop down boxes.
These are two categories that would be nice to include/exclude no matter what other filter you are using. Clicking/unclicking seems to be the most user friendly way if it can be done.

Another thing that would be nice (if it exists I don't know how to use) is the ability to lock depth charts on an individual basis. I.E. May have 6 tackles on your roster and want to lock 2 guys into the backup positions and let the AI set up the rest (obviously there would most likely be many other positions with locked in players). Bowl Bound had something similar IIRC and I loved it.
