Short - Medium - Long? - Strategy

Do we know what is considered short, medium, and long on the strategy screen?
I tried to search it and there has been a lot of conversation around it, but I still could not find a solid answer from @Brooks or @AKH.
I even found one of my old posts from 2017 when there was just short and long and no medium.
But anyways, can anyone verify what is considered short, medium, and long?
For me short would be 1-2 yards, medium = 3-7 yards, and long = 8+ yards.
Am I close?
