Playoffs instead of Bowls

Kinda of a different idea/question...

Would you consider adding an option to have bowls replaced with different level playoff tournaments? For example:

You could have like 4 8-team playoffs (where teams still compete for different tiers of championships, keeping the end of season more of a competition than what it is now). Just an idea I thought of amidst the debate over players being able to transfer before bowls.
