Free Agent Signings / Contract Extensions

8-10 years into league and players are signing contract extensions and free agent contracts for one year - this is irregardless of age. Was any of this addressed in First Access?

I'm not seeing this in my leagues. I'm in year 11 and there are still several multi year multi million dollars deals signed during free agency.

During the season players that get picked up get signed for one year deals automatically.
