GM or Head Coach?

@Brooks, I am a little confused on when you set up a new career mode game.
During the Setup, we put in our GM information, but when the game starts we cannot edit our GM? I cannot change his appearance or clothing, but I can for any other of the coaches.
Also, above the My Office Link, there is a picture of the HEAD COACH and the team logo not the GM.

So when the game starts are we the GM or the coach? Everything would point towards being the coach. Coach's picture and coach editable. If so, then why have the option to setup the GM at the beginning of the game? Shouldn't it be the option to setup the head coach.

Now I know people will read this and say it is a GM game and we are both (or everything for that matter). If that is the case shouldn't the GM editable once the game starts?
That was a very long way of saying is it possible to make the GM editable once the game starts?

Is it an option in Sandbox Mode?

I partially answered my own question. Started a league in Sandbox Mode and could edit everything about the GM. So it looks like that might be the way to go.
