Load times at startup

I really enjoy this game and I’m looking forward to the next version of this. I haven’t gotten to try DDCFS25 yet but I saw that improving the game’s speed when loading screens was a new addition. Hopefully this makes it in to the 25 version of the pro game as well. This because I feel like loading times is an area in the current version of the pro game that is really suffering right now, especially when loading up a save file at startup. Saves are starting to take way too long to load hanging at 75% for15 plus minutes. I think is totally unacceptable. The college game has never had anywhere near this kind of wait with saves that include way more teams, players, data, etc. So I really hope this improves in DDPFS25. Thanks.

Wow, never seen a save take 15 minutes to load. How many seasons are in your league? What is your computer specs? What version of the game you have? I have done many years in a sim and my save doesn't seem to take that long. Few examples below, using the 2024 version of the game. Certainly always room for optimization, but not seeing extreme load times (i.e. 15 minutes) unless you have a ton more seasons in your league. Seems like for every 30 seasons in my file, adds only about 3 seconds to the load time.

League with 30 seasons = 21 seconds to load a save file
League with 60 seasons = 24 seconds to load a save file
League with 90 seasons = 27 seconds to load a save file
League with 120 seasons = 30 seconds to load a save file

Number of seasons is not the issue. I’ve had the same issue with a newly created save. My pc is a little on the old side but as I said earlier, I have no issues with the college game. I’m using the 72 team custom league format though. That may be the issue we could narrow it down to.

Using a 72 custom league and loading 30 seasons, took about 40 seconds for me. Not sure the difference, but not seeing the 15 minute load time myself. Although certainly could use some optimization regardless. It is odd that college has more teams by default and is quicker.
