Custom League Structure - changes?

I created a 24-team custom league and am growing attached to the league. The problem is I can't stand the league and division structure: 2 conferences, 2 divisions with 6 teams each. It feels too much like old-school baseball divisions.

Is there any way to change the division structure in the offseason? Three 4-team divisions in each conference would work well.

If I decide to expand the league in the offseason, would this also allow me to create more "NFL-like" divisions?
