Microsoft .NET Framework error

Postby drummerJ99 » Sun Nov 05, 2023 11:44 am

First season. Finals just completed. Sandbox mode as I'll be taking over a expansion team. Draft lottery and I get the following:

I was able to hit continue and the draft lottery continued as normal.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

However, one thing I did notice was the 1st overall pick didn't match what it said. As in the screenshot below. The right side presentation says the Detroit Pistons won the lottery but the envelope on the left says the Brooklyn Nets do. The Pistons aren't shown anywhere on the envelope section and the Nets aren't shown anywhere on the right side of the screen.

It looks like the Pistons traded their 1st round pick along with SG Alec Burks to Brooklyn for SG Cam Thomas, C Day'Ron Sharpe & PF Noah Clowny. Which seems like a kinda dumb trade when you are in the lottery finishing 32-50.

Do you have it saved at this point? I would like to see the files if so.

The Pistons made that trade earlier in the season I'm guessing when they felt they had a chance to make the playoffs and thought Cam Thomas would get them there.

As for the display if you watch the NBA lottery drawing the teams who have traded their pick away still sit at their podium and then when their envelope is open the logo of the team who actually owns the pick is on the card so that is how I reflected it here

No sorry I don't have it saved at this point. It allowed me to continue on and I experienced no other issues. That was the first off season and I've since expanded and currently at the start of the 2nd season and haven't had this error again.

Will admit I didn't really watch the drawing display that closely during this. I was busy doing something on my second monitor and just noticed this after checking it out afterwards. So that makes sense. It just kinda threw me for a loop when I first saw it as I thought it was wrong. LOL
