No Player Images?

After quite the hiatus, I'd been playing quite a bit of CB22 recently. This got me interested once more in the basketball series so I purchased the pro basketball game in the recent Steam sale. I just installed it today, fired it up and there are no player photos, just dark grey silhouette images.

Is this normal?

I'm playing the base game no mods. I've tried the installation on a mac running parallels as well as my gaming PC. Exactly the same issue.

Ignore. I did not realize it was necessary to check randomize player and coach photos.
