Hi, I'm basketball fan and I have great joy playing basketball sim games (even helped in creation of database and translation of some games).
First of all I want to congratulate you on the game, I enjoyed it so much in previous few days, but there are some issues that should be looked at.
1. Let's start from the bug, which prevents me from playing further. After 3 years on 18th of june, I had a trade where I gave 3 players for one and some picks. But after that, those players just disappeared, from both teams. Don't know why, I think june 18th was the 1st day after trade deadline when we are able to trade again. It's not the end of season yet (but playoff is finished), rosters are still full, maybe there is some issue with that there is no space for players. I simply can't continue after my 93 potential PF disappeared which I acquired from the trade (actually I can find him on player search page, where he is still on original team, but when I check original team roster, he is not there).
2. Home court advantage should be toned down. Even the worst team in western conf had 21-20 home score, while the 2nd worst eastern conf team had 20-21. 2nd best western team had 17-24 AWAY score, while 2nd best eastern 21-19 AWAY score. Simply not realistic when your chances on away game are 50-50 against worst teams and even poorer against other.
3. Probability distribution. My sample is only 3 years, but I think the games are too random! For example, at the beginning of the season in magazines we have fairly good representation of roster strengths. Best teams with best rosters are ranked higher. But In too many occasions in this 3 years, I had situations where those best teams didn't reach playoffs with several players with rating in 90's and 80's. All 3 years, champion was mediocre team, last year especially, when champion was LAL with DAVIS with 89 rating and 3 other players in their 70's and all other way below. Of course, it wouldn't be fun without surprises and i repeat, my sample is not big enough, but I'm pretty sure deviation should be smaller!.
4. Search players page should have more filters and also potential rating for players (now we have only current rating).
5. The thing I like the most in this game is that is not easy for human player to manipulate game to gain advantage (via trades etc), but I still found a minor spoiler. It's easy to offload expensive bad player to other team (let's say 35 y old 45 rating player with 20M salary), by just giving him for free in trades. Often I obtain them just to match salaries in trade and then when I get other player I want, I just offload them to any team that has cap space.
