Game stuck saving

I got back from vacation and I'm trying to save my game to send the files in. The game has been saving for an hour now. I just started a new season with a new team and it would suck if none of my progress saved. What can I do?

I ended up closing the game and now my file won't work. Also a couple other files are now missing. What happen?

You certainly have the most unusual things happen. Never had any of those issues (failure to save, loss of files), so sorry, can't help you.

When DDSCB was a bit unstable (several years ago version), I used to save frequently as I played the game. I no longer do that since the game is now much more stable and I'm not experiencing problems, but maybe that's a good thing for you to do in the future.

That happens to me occasionally. Not predictable, not repeatable, no known reason.
