is there a way to edit db outside of game?

Yes. Use commissioner mode and under the commissioner office you can export the dB then make your edits and then use the commissioner office to import back into the game. I think most people use SQLiteStudio that can be downloaded for free to use as their editor. You can get to commissioner mode by clicking on your coaches name on the left hand side menu.

ok, thanks...ummm, d/l app, exported db, but when i open the db in the sqlite app all the cells are empty...any ideas on what i am doing wrong?

You should be able to see data in the teams.db, coaches.db & players.db. Some will be empty such as as recruits and I think the conference.db will be empty. What db are you trying to edit?

Yeah, not seeing anything but empty cells...I am trying to edit [my league name file edit.db]...

Have you expanded the database to show the tables? The data is in the tables within the database. From there you should see Teams, Players, Conf and a few other things. You must double click on a table and then go to the 2nd tab at the top of that table (can't remember the name of it off hand)

Yes, glad we could help you get there. I would back up your association before importing early on until you are comfortable with the edits you are making so you don't corrupt your save or keep your 1st export so you can get back to where you started.
