Frequency of RB fumbles seems way too high

The frequency of fumbles, especially at the RB position (and QB to a lesser degree) seems way too high. I couldn't understand why my RB (with 80 rated hands) had fumbled 15 times this season with only 239 carries.
I did a comparison of my league's regular season compared to the NCAA real-life season. In real life, only ONE RB has fumbled more than 5 times (he fumbled 7 times) while in my game, 34 RBs have fumbled more than 5 times.
Comparing the QB position, only one QB has fumbled more than 10 times in real life (he fumbled 11 times) while in my game, 13 QBs have fumbled more than 10 times - and 2 QBs have fumbled more than 20 times.
Fumbles by receiver positions (WR and TE) seem fine.

For a season there are about 2,000 fumbles per season, and about 1,000 fumbles lost total. For my season I'm seeing 15ish RB with more than 5 fumbles, but zero of them have more than 5 fumbles lost. The larger numbers are QB's, but that's normal since low hands QB's that get sacked a lot tend to have an inflated number. My worst player is a QB with 24 fumbles and 14 lost, but he has 39 hands.
